This is a popular sedan in Kenyan and Japanese markets. It features the 1.5L (1496cc) 1NZ-FXE inline four petrol engine paired with an electric motor, producing a combined 100–103hp. Power is managed via a power split device and an e-CVT. Drive is sent to the front wheels. The exterior design is a clean, simple sedan look, mature and understated.
